Many cities are famous for their food and heritage sites. Others are famous for mines or for minerals or because of their historical significance. One such city famous for its rich heritage is Dhar.

LOCATION

It is located in the Malwa region in western Madhya Pradesh. Dhar is an ancient city which after the third Anglo-Maratha war was under British rule. The British built the infrastructure of Dhar exactly the way they wanted to. Dhar shares its borders with Ratlam and east Indore.
